WE CREATE HOMES FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH DISABILITIES

WHAT WE OFFER

Ethical investing that gives exceptional returns whilst supporting Australians with disabilities.

WHAT WE DO

At Special Disability Accommodation (SDA) strive to provide NDIS participants with high physical support needs the opportunity live in beautiful architecturally-designed and finished residences that they are proud to call home.

WHY US

Our experienced team are focused on ensuring your house and land package is designed to meet your needs with all aspects considered up-front so the house is ready to move into on completion with no hidden surprises or costs.

Accommodation Design Categories

1

Fully Accessible

Fully Accessible SDA housing is designed to incorporate a high level of physical access provision for people with significant physical impairment. For instance, a wheelchair user who spends most of the day in their wheelchair would likely be eligible for Fully Accessible SDA housing.

2

High Physical Support

High Physical Support SDA housing incorporates a high level of physical access provision for people with significant physical impairment and requiring very high levels of support. Housing under this category requires an extremely high level of specialised design to further increase physical accessibility.

3

Improved Liveability

Improved Liveability SDA housing is designed to improve living by incorporating a reasonable level of physical access and enhanced provision for people with sensory, intellectual, or cognitive impairment. This is housing that has been designed to improve ‘liveability,’ with inclusions that boost physical access and make it easier to navigate the space.

4

Robust

Robust SDA housing has been designed to incorporate a high level of physical access provision and be very resilient, reducing the likelihood of reactive maintenance and reducing the risk to the participant and the community. The focus of this accommodation is resilience, safety and durability, and is designed to keep people who may have some behaviours which could place them or the people that support them at risk and to keep them safe. They are also built to reduce the likelihood of reactive maintenance.
